Ski trip Willingen Sauerland: Willingen is a cozy ski resort with 12 lifts and 20 km of slopes in different difficulty levels. The Ettelsberg slope, has a new cabin lift since 2008 and is unique to Sauerland. It takes you quickly up the slope without long line ups. The area Ritzhagen with the Sonnenhang is all day in the sunlight and offers you wonderful skiing panorama. Willingen is known for its friendliness and après-ski celebrating.

Travel Example

Day 1. Our arrival is in the afternoon or evening. We check in our hotel, gaining the first impressions of Willingen and then have our evening meal. Our supervisor is on site and will explain the program. An additional option is an atmospheric torchlight in the dark. We end this tour with mulled wine, schnapps (local drink) and a bonfire.

Day 2. After breakfast we go to the ski rental for the receipt of the skis and your lift pass. Beginners will get 2 hours of ski instruction. After the course they can independently ski down the slopes. In between the activities you can go to the many parlors, restaurants and bars on the slopes for a drink or something to eat. Around 5 pm is the end of program and start of the après-ski for those who want to celebrate. At 7.30 pm, the buffet in the hotel or a beautiful ski lodge is served. Afterwards you can go and explore Willingen.

Day 3. Early breakfast, check out of the hotel and continuation of the winter program. For non-skiers we have the opportunity to go on the Ettelsberg with the cabin and visit the Hochturm (High Tower) with its magnificent views. We will end the program at 2 or 3 pm with a meal in a restaurant, soup and sandwiches, before we go back home again.
